IARC Assesses Evidence for Carcinogenicity and Genotoxicity of Formaldehyde

IARC has determined that there is strong evidence that formaldehyde is the cause of nasopharyngeal cancer and moderate evidence that it causes leukemia, especially of the myeloid variety.
