Beryllium Exposure Associated With Several Types of Cancer

A follow-up of workers at beryllium processing plants showed significant associations with lung cancer, cancers of the nervous system, urinary tract cancers and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Most diseases of interest showed a dose-response relationship and peak dose relationship.
