About

Mass Torts: State of the Art tries to be all about the science, politics and economics of mass torts without having an agenda or bias. It’s also about the art and science of persuasion and its impact on decision-making under uncertainty for only when there’s uncertainty about an injury’s cause is there a need for a judge and jury. Throughout we’ll talk about reasoning, how thinking goes astray and how to best achieve at least rough justice in mass tort cases.

The editor is David Oliver, a trial lawyer in Vorys’ Houston office who has been trying mass tort cases for more than twenty years.
